Project : 360° Video / Virtual Reality Experience :

Commissioned by Savvy Advertising agency, we (Whilst working at Atticus Digital) were asked to film, stitch and edit a 360° Olympic cycling training experience, in Monaco, France. The final target device was the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset.

My role included designing and liaising with an engineering company to build a custom helmet mount for the camera rig. I also stitched rough takes for the approval of the director and edited the movie and sound track, collaborating with and taking creative direction from the director. Several live editing and approval meetings were performed remotely, hooking up with offices in London, Leeds, Cardiff and Plymouth. Finally motion graphics were designed in After Effects and imported to Premiere for final outputting for the virtual reality headset. I also ensured that all type and logo treatment were on-brand.
